MANNEQUIN MAGAZINE

A friend of mine runs this online fashion blog and she was looking to develop a more professional identity. She asked a number of designers to create a logo which included the name Mannequin Magazine and a mannequin silhouette, looking at expanding from a purely online blog to a printed magazine in the near future.

The identity that I have created here adheres to these requests through clever use of negative space and typography. The work I did included the foundations for the printed magazine and an all new website. The logo was put to work almost immediately and receiving positive feedback, however due to funding and study commitments, she felt she could no yet refer to her blog as a magazine, so the identity has since been retired until her studies and funding are sorted. mannequin_magazine_007
